CC KPSU

On the request of the Secretary General of the Communist Party of Israel M. Vilner

The Secretary General of the Communist Party of Israel M. Vilner asked CC KPSU to host Doron VILNER in the USSR for up to 7 days in January 1981 for advanced special training. Doron Vilner has passed a course of basic special training in Moscow (Ст-164/31гс of 21 June 1979) and is currently entrusted with the party security.

We would deem possible to agree with the request of the Israeli friends and accept in the Soviet Union the Communist Party of Israel activist Doron Vilner in January 1981 for up to 7 days for advanced special training.

We would recommend to entrust the reception and care of D. Vilner to the International Department and Administrative Department of the Central Committee of the CPSU. Charge the costs of his stay * Son of Meir Vilner (Translator’s note, based on M.Vilner’s obituary, LATimes, June 09, 2003)

in the USSR and travel from Tel-Aviv to Moscow and back to the party budget. This is agreed with the Deouty KGB Chief KRYUCHKOV V.A.

A draft of the CC KPSU resolution is attached.
