On the request of the management of the Iraqi communist party
The first secretary of CC of the Iraqi communist party (ICP) Aziz Mohammed requested an assistance in finding a living space in Moscow for the family of killed in the military actions in Iraqi Kurdistan of activist ICP M. Kh. Babezdin – namely to Soviet citizen Pakhomova] S.F. and her daughter who have returned from Iraq (cryptogram of KGB from Baghdad, special №191).
- Babezdin had actively collaborated (with the assistance of S. Pakhomova) with the representatives of Soviet special-services in Iraq. At present time his family temporarily lives with friends, his daughter goes to the school in Moscow. KGB special service stuff in Iraq positively characterizes S. Pakhomova and supports this request to provide her with the living space.
The international division of the CC CPSU would assume it possible to satisfy the request of management ICP and to direct the executive committee of the Moscow City Council to grant Pakhomova S. F. and her daughter a separate one-room apartment.
The draft of the decision by the CC CPSU is attached.
